DESCRIPTION Dopamine agonist (D3 greater than or equal to D2 < > D4) (Tocris Bioactive Compound Library)
DESCRIPTION Highly potent 5-HT1B agonist. Also 5-HT3 antagonist (Tocriscreen Total)
DESCRIPTION Anpirtoline hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of anpirtoline, which is a highly potent 5-HT1B receptor agonist with Ki values of 28 nM. It decreases central serotonin synthesis and attenuates aggressive behavior in vivo. It also acts as an antagonist at 5-HT3 receptors with Ki value of 29.5 nM and is brain penetrant. It is a receptor agonist with antinociceptive/antidepressant-like actions in rodents. (BOC Sciences Bioactive Compounds)
